Springtime Glow

Posted on

During spring time, I usually like to keep my makeup simple, especially when it comes to skin. For this look, I was inspired to create an everyday version of those beautiful, glowing, soft makeup looks you see in magazines. Diffused neutral eye shadows and a healthy helping of glow on the cheeks and skin.

Emerald is a good friend of mine and she kindly modeled for this look, thank you Emerald! On Emerald's eyes I used the new "Union" and "Cinder" eye shadows as a base colour and to start to contour the crease of the eye. On her lid I used "Oracle" and "Stillness" as a soft eyeliner. On the center of the lid, I pat on a small amount of "Ethereal" Twinkle Powder with my finger. On the inner corner of the eye I packed "Paragon" Twinkle Powder with a small shadow brush.

On her cheeks we used "Sunbeam" Pressed Cheek Colour to warm her up and we highlighted with both "Ethereal" and "Paragon" Twinkle Powders, with "Paragon" in the very highest points. Then we swept a little bit of "Cinder" eye shadow through her brows and finished off with "Blush" lipstick!

And that's it! Simple and quick spring glow.

I hope you all have a lovely spring season
