Countdown to New Years! Party Makeup with Ali.

Posted on

Hello Elate fans, our lovely Elated Artist, Ali Loughton has created a beautiful party look using everyone's 2 favorite reds...Grace and Tantric. Here is how to duplicate her gorgeous look:

Start with a freshly cleansed and moisturized face then apply concealer under the eyes and spot conceal. Then apply Fresh Tint Foundation with a brush, then smooth out any streaks with your fingers. Apply Universal Creme in "Heroine" with a blush brush then apply "Wonder" straight onto the high points of the cheeks, nose, Cupid's bow, and chin. With a fluffy bronzer brush apply "Sunbeam" bronzer. Finish the skin off with a light application of Veiled Elation loose powder in "Glowing".

For the eyes, start with creating a base for the shadows by using a small amount of the concealer on the eyelid, then dust with powder. After the base, use a fluffy blending blush to apply Pressed Eyecolour in "Earthen" to the crease. With the same brush, apply "Stone" just under "Earthen". Using your finger for a heavier application, apply "Stillness" to the rest of your lid, leaving space in the tear duct. With a smaller brush, apply "Lumen" to the tear duct and under the brow bone to highlight. With your finger, pat "Gifted" Loose Shadow over the lid, blending into the crease. With a small brush again, pat "Ethereal" Loose Shadow to the inner corner and sweep onto the inner part of the lid. Use all the same shadows on the lower lash line in the same order.
For the lips we will need "Tantric" and "Grace" lipsticks to create the ombré effect. Using a lip brush, outline your lips with "Tantric" and blend inwards leaving a bare space in the centre. With your finger, pat "Grace" lipstick in the centre space to create a full effect. Repeat these steps until you have reached your desired darkness.
We hope you love this fabulous holiday look!
