Halloween is fast approaching! If you are looking for something that is both fun and pretty while being scary and simple, this is the look for you. This half and half, split faced design has one side in full glam makeup and the other is a simple special effect that can be easily achieved at home.
For the glamorous side, create a smokey eye using Earthen, Stone and Stillness shadows. Line with Origin liner to make a bold wing. On the cheeks, apply Ingenue blush and contour with Sunkiss or Sunbeam Bronzer. Define the brows and apply Grace lipstick, layering with Icon gloss for a rich and deep pout.
For the gore side, I designed a clawed gash on the cheek. To start this, map out the area you want to have the wound with Stone eyeshadow. Pat a small amount of Grace lipstick on top of Stone and draw it downwards to create the claw marks. To deepen, layer more Stone and add Stillness over the Grace lipstick. Keep layering and top with fake blood! For the rest of the face, keep it very clean and simple. Contour with a darker foundation powder or bronzer and apply this colour lightly to the eyes. Using Earthen or Stone eyeshadow with a damp detailer brush, draw the dividing line between the two looks.
And there we have it! A simple, fun and clean Halloween look that can be done at home!
Happy (almost) Halloween everyone!
