The Elate Edit
The Elate EyeLine Pencil is quickly becoming a staple in every capsule beauty routine - as it is the easiest way to take your look from day to night, from neutral to bold.
While we all love the allure of a defined or a smoky eye, the traditional materials in conventional makeup liners - we could do without, making the recent launch of the Align Collection a huge hit, as it rolled out a consciously curated selection of multipurpose LipColours and EyeLiners that were made sustainably and ethically.
What makes these Pencils extra special are the low carbon production processes and materials; corn-derived lids, that fit perfectly atop the PEFC certified wood that guarantees sustainable forest management, finished with water based paint.
If you prefer your make-up to have that effortless edge, then the EyeLine Pencil is perfect for you. The soft and creamy texture this pencil make its application smooth and quick, working for everyday or for professional expert looks. The EyeLine Pencil has been tested for its blend-ability, and it does not disappoint!
Smudge along the lash line to make your eyelashes look thicker and eyes appear brighter plus no smoky eye is complete without it! You can even use it on the waterline to intensify your look further.

If you are just starting out, here are some tips to get your journey started!
1. Position Yourself
The way you position yourself can make all of the difference in your technique. A handheld mirror will be your best friend, so get up close and personal - holding it close and slightly lower to your eye. Steady yourself and place your elbow on a flat table or surface. If your shaky, steady yourself and take some deep breaths! You got this!
2. Trace & Draw
Sharpen to your desire (extra sharp for that defined line)
For a defined line - start with the wing by marking the outermost corner of your eye and drawing a thin line angled slightly upward
For a softly smudged look - stay close to your lash line and gently draw a line with the pencil straight across from the middle to the outer corner of your eye. Try to avoid tugging on the skin near your outer eye corner to stretch your eyelid.
