Our 'Elation' Policy

We want to be elated about your purchase! 


We recognize ordering cosmetics online can be difficult, so we offer samples of all our products. (except mascara and liner) We strongly suggest you order samples to test out a new shade. (It's like going on a date before you and exciting!) 

Once you purchase, if you decide the product is just not for you, we offer an exchange for 15 days. You are responsible to pay the return postage, and your replacement product will be sent on us. Please send an email to and we will give you instructions on how to return your item.

Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.

Damaged or Defective Items

At Elate, we stand behind the quality of our product. We absolutely replace items if they are defective or damaged. Send us an email at with the nature of the defect, and a picture, and we will send a replacement of the same item and shade to you straight away. No need to return the defect, unless we request it. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. If you did not purchase your item through please contact the wholesale partner first. 

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be exchanged, unfortunately sale items cannot be exchanged.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
