Shipping and Returns

ORDERS WITHIN CANADA

  • All orders are processed within 3 business days and are shipped out of our location in Victoria BC.
  • Orders over $75 will be shipped for FREE to all destinations within Canada.
    · Orders under $75 shipped within Canada will be charged $8.00 tracked shipping.
    · Orders are shipped out via Canada Post Expedited Service
    · Depending on where you live in Canada, orders may arrive anywhere between 2-10 business days after they are placed.
  • Please double check your shipping address before confirming your purchase. Elate is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages, but we will always do our best to help you locate a missing package. Please contact your local post office first to see if they are holding your item.


Within Victoria, BC you may choose the pickup at Elate Studio option! If you would like to pick up your order, please contact us prior to placing your order.

ORDERS TO THE USA

  • Orders $100+ will be shipped for FREE to all destinations within the USA (including Alaska and Hawaii).
  • Orders under $100 shipped to the USA will be charged a flat rate shipping fee of $10 WITH TRACKING
  • All orders shipped out to the USA are sent via Canada Post Small Packet or Tracked Packet Service (depending on the size of the parcel) and will therefore be delivered to you in the USA via USPS.
  • Orders that contain only samples which will be shipped via Small Packet Service with no tracking number
  • All orders are processed within 3 business days and are shipped out of our location in Victoria BC.
    · Depending on where you live in the USA, orders may arrive anywhere between 5-14 business days after they are placed with us online.
  • Elate cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen packages

 

ORDERS OUTSIDE NORTH AMERICA

  • Shipping rates will vary depending on the country you live in. Your shipping rate will be applied at checkout and ranges from $30CAD to $40CAD. All orders are shipped air Tracked Packet International via Canada Post. Please contact us if you do not see your shipping rate, and we will see what we can do!
  • We do not ship international orders without a tracking number. If standard shipping is requested by the purchaser, Elate Cosmetics will not be held liable for any lost or damaged packages shipped via this service.

  • Elate cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen packages

Please note that all orders are charged in Canadian dollars. If shopping in the USA, your credit card will automatically determine the exchange rate for you at the time of purchase and you will see the actual amount you were charged on your credit card statement.

EXCHANGES

We recognize ordering cosmetics online can be difficult, so we offer samples sizes of all our face products. We strongly suggest you order samples to test out a new shade before purchasing a full size.

Once you purchase, if you decide the product is just not for you, we offer an exchange on products for 15 days after delivery. The sender is responsible for return postage fees, but we will cover the shipment of your new item. Please send an email to returns@elatebeauty.com and we will give you instructions on how to exchange your item.

Our policy lasts 15 days after delivery. If 15 days have gone by since your package was received, unfortunately we may not be able to offer you an exchange.

Damaged or Defective Items

At Elate, we stand behind the quality of our product. We absolutely replace items if they are defective or damaged within 3 months of purchase. Send us an email at returns@elatebeauty.com with the nature of the defect, and a picture, and we will send a replacement of the same item and shade to you straight away. No need to return the defect, unless we request it. 

**To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. If you did not purchase your item through www.elatecosmetics.ca please contact the wholesale partner first.**

Sale items and Samples

Sale items and samples are final sale. Only regular priced, full size items may be exchanged.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
